On May 19, 2025, Frobel, a subsidiary of Vision Education, and SABIS officially signed a contract to establish a new international early childhood education institution in Erbil: SABIS Cubs Nursery.
The agreement was signed by Zainab Khaleel Ali, CEO of Frobel, and Raed Mahmoud, Regional Director of SABIS, marking an important milestone in a partnership that has spanned more than twenty years.
Throughout this long-standing collaboration, Frobel and SABIS have successfully launched and operated several prominent schools in the Kurdistan Region, including The International School of Choueifat – Erbil, The International School of Choueifat – Dream City, Cadmus International School – Erbil, and Cadmus International School – Duhok. These achievements reflect a shared and ongoing commitment to investing in quality education across both the Kurdistan Region and Iraq.
SABIS Cubs Nursery introduces a forward-thinking nursery model that integrates SABIS globally recognized academic excellence with Frobel’s dedication to nurturing, inclusive, and high-quality early learning environments. The nursery will support the holistic development of young children and prepare them for a lifetime of learning.
This partnership reflects a shared vision to strengthen early education and offer families access to a high-quality learning environment that supports children’s growth and prepares them for success in an increasingly connected world.
Construction of the nursery is scheduled to begin soon, with the opening planned for the upcoming academic year. SABIS Cubs Nursery is expected to set a new benchmark for early childhood education in the region and further strengthen Vision Education’s mission to deliver transformative learning opportunities throughout the Kurdistan Region and Iraq.
