Vision Education Recognised for Outstanding Contributions to Education in the Kurdistan Region


On Wednesday, Vision Education was recognised for its outstanding contributions to education in the Kurdistan Region, receiving a prestigious award from Prime Minister Masrour Barzani. The accolade acknowledges the organisation’s significant impact on both the public education and higher education sectors.

The award ceremony, held in Erbil, was attended by numerous local organisations and businesses that were also honoured for their strategic and charitable work in the region.

Prime Minister Barzani personally presented the award to Zainab Khaleel, Deputy CEO of Vision Education, expressing his deep appreciation for the institution’s crucial role in rebuilding the region during times of economic hardship.

Since its founding, Vision Education has been dedicated to serving the educational needs of the Kurdistan Region. With a clear vision and a commitment to empowering the region’s educational infrastructure, the organisation has made a substantial impact.

Upon receiving the award, Zainab Khaleel emphasised that it is a testament to Vision Education’s unwavering commitment, dedication, and the exceptional leadership of its team.

Established in 2018, Vision Education owns several private institutions, and their revenue is allocated to support educational and higher education initiatives. To date, the organisation has successfully renovated over 30 public schools, built three schools from the ground up, and addressed the educational needs of approximately 650 schools in the Kurdistan Region. Additionally, Vision Education annually awards scholarships to more than 600 deserving students.
