Vision Education signs a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Ora Developers to establish one of Iraq’s largest and most advanced international schools in the capital city of Baghdad.
The MoU was officially signed during a ceremony attended by Zainab Khaleel Ali, Deputy CEO of Vision Education, and Ibrahim Karim, Executive Director of Ora Developers Iraq.
Under this agreement, Vision Education and Ora will collaborate to build a state-of-the-art international school in Madinat Al-Ward — the largest residential development in Iraq. The project, led by Ora Developers, spans 62 million square meters and will feature approximately 120,000 housing units.
Zainab Khaleel Ali described the MoU as a reflection of Vision Education’s ongoing commitment to collaboration and its meaningful contributions to initiatives and projects that drive societal progress. She emphasized that Vision Education remains steadfast in its mission to ensure education plays a pivotal role in building a brighter future.
This partnership builds on Vision Education’s long-standing experience and success in the education sector of the Kurdistan Region and Iraq. Over the years, the institution has launched numerous impactful initiatives that have not only transformed the country’s educational landscape but have also positively affected the lives of hundreds of thousands of individuals.
Vision Education has established several of the region’s top educational institutions, including Nawroz University — founded in 2004 as Iraq’s first private university — and the International School of Choueifat, established in 2006 as the country’s first English-language international school offering the SABIS®️ curriculum.
This new initiative marks a significant step forward in Vision Education’s mission to raise educational standards and broaden access to world-class learning opportunities throughout Iraq.
