Soran, October 28, 2023 — Vision Education, in collaboration with the Soran Independent Administration, has launched a groundbreaking initiative aimed at providing essential supplies to 512 schools and kindergartens in the Soran area.
The launch event, held on October 28, 2023, was graced by the presence of distinguished government officials, school principals, and teachers. The inauguration ceremony began with an opening speech by Mr. Halgurd Shekh Najib, the Supervisor of Soran Independent Administration. Mr. Akara Alisha, the Director General of Education for Soran, delivered remarks on behalf of Minister of Education, Dr. Alan Hama Saeed. Additionally, Sara Salahaddin Mustafa, the CEO of Vision Education, addressed the gathering, outlining the importance and the potential impact of this project.
Based on the specific needs of the public schools in the area, over 4,000 items including whiteboards, cabinets, laptops, projectors, kerosene heaters, air coolers, sports packages, and kindergarten games will be distributed. These supplies were identified as crucial needs by the schools themselves.
This initiative is set to impact the lives of more than 73,500 individuals, significantly enhancing their educational experience by providing these essential supplies. It stands as one of the largest and most impactful initiatives that Vision Education has undertaken, reaffirming their commitment to improving the education sector.
