Erbil, May 19, 2022 — Vision Education is proud to have sponsored the “World Earth Day” conference organized by the Centre for Environmental Studies at the University of Kurdistan – Hewlêr. This initiative aligns with Vision Education’s commitment to promoting environmental awareness and sustainable practices.
The key objective of the conference was to foster discussions around strategies for preventing, reducing and addressing environmental pollution. The event featured thought-provoking panel discussions on compelling topics such as “Invest in Our Planet: Environmental Challenges in the Kurdistan Region-Iraq” and “Sustainable Energy: Policies, Activism, and the Private Sector.”
This impactful gathering brought together diplomats, government officials, academics, students, and environmental advocates from various backgrounds. The participants engaged in meaningful dialogues about current environmental challenges, global warming, and proposed sustainable solutions specific to the Kurdistan Region.
