Project Overview:
Vision Education launched a significant initiative to supply essential school equipment to 512 public schools and kindergartens in Soran district, located in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. This region encompasses a vast array of villages and towns across the mountainous landscape of eastern Erbil province, including Soran, Khalifan, Rawanduz, Sidakan, Choman, and Mergasor.
The project was officially launched on October 28, 2023, attended by local government officials, school principals, and teachers. The distribution of supplies commenced promptly, ensuring each school and kindergarten received tailored equipment based on their unique needs within a week of the project’s inception. The supplies included heaters, whiteboards, sports equipment, lockers, laptops, data projectors, air coolers, and educational toys.
The project’s focus on this particular region responded to the urgent and crucial need for essential supplies and equipment in these public schools. This initiative had an immediate impact on over 73,500 individuals, providing students in the Soran region with the resources they need to unlock their full potential.
